Week of March 27 -31, 2017



This week we will continue to work on revising and editing.  We will start doing more of the STAAR formatted questions to be more familiar with the way questions will be asked next year.  We will also be having benchmarks this week make sure that you take advantage of the time that you have to study.

Week of March 20-24

Welcome back! Hope that you enjoyed this past week. This is the 4th week of the 5th six weeks.  Lets get ready to hit it hard.  We will have many activities planed for you.  Make sure that you keep up with assignment and missing work to avoid being affected by it. This week will be focusing/reviewing  informative writing. We want to make sure that we refine our writing to be prepared for next year. Also, we will be going over revising and editing.  making sure that we are exposed to different questions in the same format asked next year during the STAAR Test.

Week of March 6 - 10, 2017


Wow! This is the 3rd week of the 5th six weeks. We will be continuing to work on procedural writing this week.  We will continue to cover the characteristics of a procedural text into a procedural essay.  We will also be going over clauses.  Please make sure that you turn in all assignments on time.
