Week of Dec. 8 - 12

We are already the 5th week of the 6 weeks. This week we will be reviewing, students make sure that you bring your interactive notebooks to class this week.  We will have our exam on Thursday. The exam will cover : Common and Proper Nouns, ,Linking verbs and Helping verbs, Progressive forms/ present and past perfect tenses and future time, Irregular verbs ,Pronoun (Personal Pronouns and Using Pronouns) ,Pronouns and Antecedents / Possessive pronouns,  Indefinite Pronouns. 

*If you have any missing assignments make sure that your turn them in ASAP.

WEEK OF 11/17 – 11/21

 This week we will continue to go over the different techniques to implement in our narrative.  We will also be going over Helping verbs and linking verbs.

Reminders: Continue working in your postcards (postcard to Abuelita from Esperanza) they are due this Friday Nov. 21.  Also, don’t forget to study for your weekly vocabulary test we will have it this Friday. 

Week of 11/10 – 11/14

This is the 1^st week of the 3^rd six weeks.  It seems time is flying, this week we will start be discussing the techniques that authors use to grab the reader’s attention.  Also, we will start on the introduction of our NARRATIVE .  Get ready to have a week full of excitement.

Writing:  This week we will be going over the different kinds of sentences, and student will be introduced to a narrative essay.  We will go over the key characteristics of narrative essay.
